The Background of Beauty

Music has been in our lives for centuries. We listen to music all the time without even realizing it. For example, there are stores, commercials, malls, television, internet, movies and pretty much everything else. But when did people truly start listening to music? When did someone decide that rhythms were such a beautiful thing? 

In about 350 BC there were tribes who would draw people dancing on the cave walls, but what were they dancing to? Music. The first instrument recorded was a hollow wooden stick that they would blow into and it would come out in some sort of screechy way (like Sponge bob and his holes). Ever since then, obviously, music has kept a place in our history.
